What filters do you use ? Is millipore the best one for gear?

had some issues with Nalgene but no issues will Millipore, other than they kept being sold out. couple on here swear by the whatman zapcaps tho too. personal preference

I have only used zapcaps but if your millipore comes with a plastic receiver jar, sub it out for a glass one.

PDVF Membrane, these will stand well with solvents like Guaiacol.

Major difference though is heat nylon will break where PDVF won't, got to let it cool down a lot with nylon.

The CR is nylon and the S and S Plus are cellulose acetate I think.

Out of those choices nylon. Nylon handles best pretty well

I believe nylon filters are rated to work up to 50c
