Ok sir, you dont need to start a new thread everytime you ask a question about your little Dr. Frankenstein laboratory.

Next time start a thread that says, New to home brew feed back appreciated.

Then keep posting up your goofy questions till your all set up.

BTW that link failed.

Link don't work but the nalgene mf75 should work.

However -if that comes with a plastic media bottle (what you filter into) ditch that as it will crack. You need a glass media bottle with a 45mm neck. The bottle top filter just screws onto the media bottle.

Make sure the filter media is 22um. 45 is not adequate as pathogens of concern like streptococcus spp. will make it thru.

You need glass graduated cylinder to measure BA BB and oil. You need a sensitive scale. A glass stirring rod or I suppose stainless will do.

No offence sir but the guy has 4 posts under his belt total, and 4 posts are new threads all about the same thing. Hes posting a new thread everytime he posts a question about his brew kit. Didn't think he needed to post a new thread every time.

That's not your call nor can I possibly fathom why it bothers you... don't mistake that for me asking why.

Plastic sucks. Like POB says, it will crack. Even the ones that say autoclavable usually aren't. Get a good glass set up if you are serious. If you want a good bottle top filter system, there are better ones. You will need glass media bottles either way.
