I know this is my first post in a very long time. I’ve been pretty occupied with my newborn baby boy. But over the past few months I’ve been doing a little bit of research on how to home brew. The one question that I keep coming back to is how do people who do this get the sterilized solution in a sealed vial without two pinholes in the rubber stopper? I’m pretty anal about inspecting stuff and don’t ever remember seeing pinholes in the rubber stoppers of gear i used to get back in the day. I mean at any given point there’s air that’s ultimately going to be coming in contact with the solution prior to it being sealed so even if you were to sterilize the vials and stoppers wouldn’t you still be at risk to possible contamination during the process of actually putting the stoppers on the sterile vials and sealing?
