I wanted to share that BASSKILLER passed away yesterday. I know many here knew him over the many years he was around on the forums. He started Basskilleronline many many years back, and it was a staple in a search for many when they started. He also owned many forums with the final one being World Class Bodybuilding. He was a Vet and VIP across almost every forum out there. He was a true OG on the forums after starting on them since the 90's. He was a Mod here at the UG, along with myself, when rAJJIN owned it and took it over a little over a decade ago. He was a member back when it started as UG Supplements when Sup1/Superior1 started it in the 90's.

He had been battling health issues for many years now, and finally succumbed to his health and pain yesterday. He was a true friend to myself and many on these forums. I don't call many people a true friend, but he was one of them. My list of people i could trust in real life is short, but he was on that list, despite never needing it. He was a true legend on the forums who lived by code and honor and respect. He was a teddy bear on the inside beneath the protective hard shell, and many of us close to him were blessed to see it.

I could go on and on, but we all lost a true pioneer and leader of the forums today, and I, as well as many, lost a true great friend:(

Rest in peace BK, love ya brother. Get the afterlife ready for us all and we will see each other soon.

With much love, your friend,
BMJ

I never knew him from the forums, but like many I knew who he was and what he's done for the community.

Thank you for sharing this with us all. He will be missed.

My prayers too his family, he was an icon as far back as 20yrs ago. We were mods on a few boards and he never stopped his quest for knowledge and willingness to disseminate it.
God bless

Rumors about Bass and his health have been going around for a couple of years now. WWCC had been on and offline for sometime. The last I heard he may have turned a corner and was actually doing better. Whether or not that was the case I don't know. I do know that when I hear that kind of thing I brace for the worst.

Often times it will be the way things go. I remember an Aunt of mine was supposed to be making a comeback from Lung Cancer. She was feeling better and Dr's were optomistic. Shortly thereafter, she coughed up a bit of blood. She was gone a couple of weeks later.

Bass and I were never close or even friendly. Back in 2006 I was banned from elitefitness. It was like a domino effect. Next was anonymousbodybuilding giving me the hammer. When Bass heard(I was and am a member, though not active, at wcbb) he didn't fall in line. He waited to make a decision after any evidence that I was selling certain frowned upon products. I wasn't advertising the products on any forum and wasn't soliciting by pm on any forums. I didn't lie and say I never sold things off the forums. I didn't break any rules so he let me alone. He has always been respected and the bleeding stopped with him and I wasn't banned anyplace else after he let me be.

When I hear of a longtime member passing it gets me thinking about my own mortality. I still don't feel old but damn.

That sucks! RIP BK! I followed a lot of his guides years ago, great info from him.
