Hey guys,

Just wondering is anyone here has experience with Hepatitis C and anabolics. I was treated with Mayvaret and my levels were undetectable, but I after doing part of my ongoing research I found this study ( https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/25447651/ ) in which someone who was treated with coritcosteroids in which their levels became detectable again. Only started digging into this because my body does not seem to tolerate anadrol very well at all. Nausea and diarrhea so far. Haven't noticed any signs such as jaundice yet, but I do believe my liver may be mad at me.

May just be over thinking it. Just wondering if anyone else has looked into this at all.

really doesnt seem like a great idea, orals with a normal liver isnt even a great idea except for real mild shit.
Yea I guess it's one of those things I had to find out. Didn't even take the hep c into consideration because it had been treated a while ago now.

I'm going to just go back to taking it on training days until this competition early next month. Guess I'll just have to cut any orals out going forward. Next cycle I'll see how NPP does for strength gains.

Has anyone ever taken their orals sublingually? If it's that much safer on the live I'm going to try it over the next week to see if it eases these side effects. I'm going to guinea pig myself with this one and check back in later.

Anabolic steroids are not the same thing as corticosteroids, so that study more than likely doesn't apply to your situation.

Right, but the methylation of a compound is what allows it to be absorbed in second pass through the liver but is also damaging right? So wouldn't say methylprednisone be as damaging to the liver as oxymethalone?

I don't have experience with it specifically but from a health standpoint the risks of orals would outweigh the benefits IMO when u have had any type of liver disease. I still did them myself extensively I am no expert but health definitely suffered as a result. I am a nurse by profession, yet I didn't pay attention to my bloods for years even though they were slowly going south. Too busy. I have had kidney issues in the past I feel are directly related.. I never run orals these days and look better that I ever have. I think u could get what u need from injectables and keep dosages down to mitigate the risks involved. I will say Superdrol gave me a look nothing else came close to..but it is very temporary as the side effects were rough. I know we all love our orals..but if I could go back in time my oral use would be much different and used for specific limited purposes only.

They have major negative hepatic effects from what I have read.

Thanks man, I really appreciate your input. From a strength standpoint I think I'll try out some no ester test preworkout going forward.
