Hey all!
I'm just curious how often everyone here trains throughout the week. I've seen some hardcore bodybuilders who barely take breaks and might be in the gym 7 days a week. I've seen others training only on weekdays. I'm sure it depends on the goals and where you are in your prep and...
Hey, all.
I was hoping to create a thread for everyone here to share their training approaches and what they feel works best for them. The more detailed the better. Do you design your own program or follow one from a celebrity trainer? Are you focused on hypertrophy, strength, fast or slow...
Hello, I am trying to figure out what workout split would work best for myself and what you guys would recommend? I love high intensity, heavy weight training. I would like to do a more of a bodybuilding workout rather than powerlifting. So figured I’d get on here and see what you guys...
OK, so this is a program that I wrote for my upcoming recomp. The gyms are opening back up and I need to hit it hard.
Basically I’m just hoping that you guys could have a look and see if there’s anything that I’ve overlooked. A fresh set of eyes often helps. Yes I know there’s only one leg day...
Hi friends!
We are two sports and gym enthusiasts.
Due to the pandemic period, the lack of time and job, we have started training at home in the last year.
We have looked for and tried some apps that would help us stay fit and allow us to do a totally personalized training and not a standard...
I dont have the money right now but when I get my tax refund I'd like to get a coach to make sure I'm headed in the right direction. I'd like to compete in wellness one day. I dont know anyone in the area and I dont see any female competitors at the gyms I go to.
What should I look for when...
when you first started using test how long did it take before you started seeing quicker recovery times. my current program is .3 ml of test cyp and .2 ml of hcg. I realize that many of the benefits take weeks before being noticeable but specifically how long till this benefit is noticed? thanks
Curious with everyones success, or lack thereof, with training to failure.
When Mike Matthews posted about this topic last week I thought, "I train to failure in all but my first set"
But, I've thought about it and went to the gym a few times since his post.
I found that I wasn't training to...
Disclaimer: I just joined UG yesterday, but want to get familiar with the experiences of community members.
I'm in my third year of my pre-med undergrad and I'm slowing school down a bit (taking less hours) so that I can keep up with everything. How was time management for anyone else balancing...
One way of thought says it's because heavy lifting suppresses natural testosterone levels, that you should stay away from heavy lifting or maybe take a few weeks off post cycle.
On the other side thinking..increased training volume is the only way to insure maximum muscle retention...
I know...
So, loads of you have a gym buddy….
Someone you meet religiously at a set time every day in the gym, with the goal of hitting a certain body part - a piece of a master plan for the week ahead.
But what do they need from you….?
What makes a training partner GREAT!?
Well contrary to popular...
The Bro Split
Most of you who've followed my posts across the boards will be very familiar for my passionate hate for the bro split.
The aim of this article is to show exactly why its such a poor way to train (ESPECIALLY on cycle) and then to suggest a few alternative splits that I have used...
Hey guys, I came up with this really good chest superset that will blast your pecs to the max. This will also put on some size for sure. It's incline bench and Pushups but the exercise used on incline bench is quite different. I made a video demonstrating what to do...

My mothafvckin brothas,
So I have this book that my mother used for training in the early 90's based off Bill Pearl's knowledge of bodybuilding. He was the Mr. Universe title holder in the 1950's and was in really good shape for that era. He created this 600+ page book on hundreds of workouts...
