Mines been creeping up to high 120s low 80s. Looking to donate blood again soon. Just curious does anyone have any preference of whole blood vs double red? They always have me do double red when I donate.
High BP and blood donation are two different things. You shouldn't really see any BP difference from donating blood.

Simply taking telmesartan at 40 to 80mg per day will fix Ur issue and prevent several others you may have.

My doctor's office checked it last week during my appointment.

110/70
HR 72 BPM

I'm on 20mg of prescribed lisinopril to keep it in check.
I'd seriously consider speaking to Ur doc about switching from the ace inhibitor Ur on to an arb. Particularly telmisartan as it has several other additional benefits for athletes.

I take 100 mg losartan and 2.5 mg bystolic.

The losartan is the max dose. It lowered my bp but not by a lot.

Bystolic is a cardioselective beta blocker. 2.5 mg is 1/2 of the starter dose. It did more for my BP than the max of the ace blocker. So I suppose stress hormones are my real issue…..

So if Cialis works on lowering my blood pressure should I bother with anything like Telmisartan?

Also is taking Cialis everyday going to fuck my dick up in the long run?

On average low dose cialis lowers BP 2-5 points not very much according to the studies i have seen. . It is not a BP drug. It may interact with your medication to lower things more but you would need to look into that.

Ok thanks, for some reason I thought people used it to control BP while on a cycle.

I am also on Adderall . So I think I will look into getting something like Telmisartan. Maybe a beta blocker too because my heart rate is around 100 just resting.

Thanks for bringing this up! It's really important to be aware of our health and safety when taking bodybuilding supplements. Keeping track of our blood pressure daily is a great way to make sure we're in top shape.

150/99 Pulse 79. I'm scared. Took the reading close to activity and on the right hand so hopefully it's skewed. Going to take morning reading for a few days. If I wake up and it's this high I'm assuming go straight to the doctor?

This is also my first time using a cuff. I got the omrom 7 series 6350. Anybody else have experience with this monitor? Do you find it accurate? Last time I checked my BP was over two years ago and it was 117 over something but I've also been living the past couple years like a guy who doesn't every worry about his blood pressure. Until the past month my diet has been disgraceful.

Use left arm, see what it is in the morning.

Still 142/94 Pulse 93. BP down 8 points and my pulse went up 14??? Sat still for 5 minutes before taking it and made sure the monitor was at the correct level. I cannot get myself calm before the reading though. As soon as I start thinking about taking it i feel a rush of anxiety. I was sitting here listening to singing bowls trying to settle down before taking the monitor but I cannot chill the fuck out when I know I'm getting a reading. Any guidance is appreciated. I'm having a hard time telling if I'm confounding my readings and need to settle down and get a weeks average or go straight to the ER.

Head to a local pharmacy, they usually have a public BP monitor that you can use.
