So since my insurance doesn't cover my scripts I'm going UGL.

My question is how long typically is the shelf life of a home brew test.

I'm sure there are plenty of factors that play into it, like if it was brewed properly ect.

I'm just wondering if I should order more than I initially was going to

I would use it up to2- 3 years old if you trust your brewer. I always keep a surplus and rotate the inventory
so keep a date code on it.

Thanks, for the heads up.

I will make a small order first, get the bloods and see how it is then go from there.

Don't want to order a ton and find out its garbage

If it's been made properly and stored properly it'll be good for several years at least.

If you are concerned you also need to think of how long it's been sitting on the UG's shelf. I dont get too wrapped up about it, as others have said if it is stored well and made well then it is GTG in my opinion.

I don't get around as much as I would like anymore... You just try to help where you can, when you can.
