First post, been stalking for a good week now and really dig everything about this place. Look forward to really sinking my teeth in!
For what it matters: I'm 23, been training 3 years or so, love deathcore/death metal (Live in Whitechapel's hometown), avidly play but suck at console shooters, used to powerlift up until 6 months ago when I threw a disc in my back. Went to a chiro at first (bad experience) and this month finally a very high qualified spine doc who said my discs are genetically "sh#$" and far too thin and worn for sustained squatting/deadlifting.
Hit me in the feels of course, but deciding to suck it up and trudge onward with bodybuilding as I have doc's green light as long as it's mostly bench and machines. It's fine though as it's reinvigorating in a sense for gym life to completely change focus.
After the back injury, got promoted at work, married, and took a bit of time off so I could stand straight again (lol) which cost me 25 pounds off my frame (sucks) putting me at 160 right now. Good bit of it was fat though so it could be worse. At any rate, I've always trained natty and have a friend pulling me towards enhancement which I'm pretty interested in at this point but as an extremely analytical person need more time to research (and I don't want to ask to use his source either as I should rightfully find my own).
In closing, I guess it can be noted I'm actually setting my sights on Men's Physique as it's something that is currently much more in reach and there's also a huge scene for it here (know dudes my age competing at national level with really inspiring builds). And lastly I'm pretty sure I'm already a fan of PillarofBalance around here haha...whose posts are as epic as his sick avatar. \m/
