314 bench
424 squat
501 deadlift
There were some decimals in there, so the total came out to 1239.8 or something. Went 7/9, overshooting my 3rd attempt on squat and bench. Overall, I was happy with everything. Weights were moving well, my strength was good, and "first meet nerves" were a non-issue. Grandpa was able to watch some of the livestream, and he caught my 501 deadlift. They told me he was absolutely beside himself, and he was calling relatives to tell them about it. My grandma made a short video of him telling me how proud he is, and sent it to my sister. She pulled me aside, and showed me after my flight was done. It'll set in later, but right now, I'm just glad he was able to watch some of it.
Today, he woke up with no muscle strength, and limited responsiveness. My mother has signed him onto hospice, and he's being evaluated now. It was an honor to make my grandfather that happy one last time. An absolute honor.
