Best compound for 2nd cycle

My friend just started 2 weeks with his first cycle. Cycle Test E every 3 days. Now he wants to take some different compounds and does a research to determine which one is the best to stack with Test E for his 2nd cycle. He also wants to prepare everything he will need for the year late this month or next month.
So which compound should he go with? He's leaning towards to NPP or Deca. What's your favorite and why?

NPP is his best bet IMO.

500mg Test 16 weeks
400mg NPP 12 weeks

No orals or anything else as this will teach him what NPP will do for and to him.

When new and adding too much at once you don't really learn what each individual compounds is doing.
