are DHT-based steroids better at giving that hardened look?

Aka Masterone, Anavar, Mesterolone, etc. Are they actually better at giving one that hardened look, physically? I've read something about this. But vs. non-DHT steroids? What's your experience?

The most important factor in a hard look is low body fat. Unless you're very low already it doesn't matter.

That whole idea comes from the fact that they dont cause as much water retention as other steroids do, i might be wrong
