Researchers have reversed age-related endurance loss in mice by treating them with a compound that promotes new blood vessel growth. Their study found the compound, which reactivates longevity-linked sirutin proteins, promotes blood vessel and muscle growth, boosting endurance of elderly mice by up to 80 percent. It's a good idea to completely ignore animal data if you're interested in stuff with practical relevance. It literally means nothing beyond providing some evidence for researchers to use to gain funding for future research in humans - where most of the time this stuff never plays out.

And it's appreciated. For future reference, try to stick to human research - preferably of the RCT (randomized clinical trials) type. Much more relevant, easier to understand and no need for hours worth of mental masturbation that 99.9% of this board isn't going to bother with.
