Sissy Squat

Anyone have any experience using a sissy squat machine without squeezing the sh&^ out of your calves? I use it and I feel I'm getting a sadistic calf massage with no happy ending

I only use them if there is an adjustable calf armature. Otherwise I will do some weighted pistol squats while holding KBs and a pole.

I have one and use it, but the calf pads on mine adjust so I can get it comfortable

ahhhh.......would make sense for it to be adjustable. Maybe this one is just a POS.

The one I use has rectangular pads so the pressure isn’t as focused.
