This seems unlikely, but it could have been a brief, mild, histamine related reaction to some component of the product. Antigen exposure can build up over time, resulting in allergies to chemicals that we were once comfortable taking. Maybe keep an eye out for future sensitivity to that Deca.
Or perhaps it was a nerve, especially if the redness and tingling sensation in the throat was unilateral on the same side of the injection. Or it's AIDS.
