Go with the fish oil. Tried and true from a research stand point.

I agree, this is what I always was advised. They said I already consume plenty of omega 6 and 9, but omega 3 not so much (should probably eat more fish lol).

Fish oil not bad though. You should try for it.

I will say this, I tried Nordic Naturals Omega 3 at the recommendation of my doctor as he said it is "better" than the stuff at Costco and would improve my HDL to LDL ratio. After three months on it, I had blood work drawn and my HDL was lower with my LDL higher than before on the Costco brand of fish oil. Sadly, this was with a much tighter diet. I just ran out of the Nordic Naturals, and will move back to the Costco Fish Oil, taking a higher dose, to see if it makes a difference or not. Lab work is in August, so I figure 4 of the Costco fish oil tablets per day should do the trick..

I was also told to eat an Avocado per day, so I have been trying to do that too. I flip flop my diet between high protein, moderate fat, and low carb or high protein, low fat, and moderate carb. I try to reserve the higher carb days for my lifting days, but it doesn't always pan out that way.

Oh, and cardio, I was told cardio would improve my HDL/LDL cholesterol profile too... We'll see as I have been doing that since January and my last lab work was in February.

    I also get Carlson’s.

Vitamin shops brand is Carlson’s just different packaging, so I typically get it when I can. Little cheaper.

Both, they both provide different benefits. Id take slightly more fish oils than flax tho.
