    water and fat

I've seen on Youtube how some bodybuilders add extra layers of clothes and turn on the heater while doing nothing in the house. I know their intention is to get their body in a thermogenesis state. They may be at a very low body fat, but they are trying to deplete water to have a more defined look. My question is, since fat has less density than water, does adding extra layers of clothes and diuretics to deplete enough water really make a difference ?
or does it all just come down to body fat ?

It makes difference while doing cardio imho. Water depleting is more effective with using extra layers of clothes and diuretics. It can make a more defined look if your bf is low
