El Gringo, what is the point of telling me I am very fat. First, I have a mirror and have been working the last couple years to better my physique. I have come a pretty long way, but nowhere near where I want to be. Second, the other members of this board are here to encourage and help people get healthier and achieve their goals. What are you here for? Third, not knowing you and assuming you have a bodybuilder type physique I would still bet I can beat your ass. Finally, for a very fat (mucho gordo) individual I live a pretty good life and have a very hot wife that is happy with how I look. You probably dont have either based on your dumbass non contributory comment.
Well you said you think you're 18 percent bodyfat, so i figured you're seeing yourself differently in the mirror. you are more like 25 percent bf. you admit your diet hasnt been good and that you're all of a sudden going to start eating clean, and only for 8 weeks. Its not easy to just flip a switch and go from beer and potato chips to chicken breast and veggies. It takes me a few weeks until i fully jump in when i get strict. and after those 8 weeks, are you just going to go back to your old ways of drinking and loose diet?

I'm surprised no one else has said anything about cycling at your BF. your lipids probably arent great to begin with and I'm no expert on Masteron, but ive always heard it is pointless when ran above a certain bf percentage.

you use 200 mg/week of test for TRT which is plenty and you could get good results with just that. you are best off dieting on your TRT until you cut down to 12 percent bf. then with a good foundation in place, you would be best off running that cycle.

I know this because i've been there before.
i thought i was jacked until someone finally told me i was fat

I think it’s because OP had already run tren. I agree that he is not at a level where that compound is warranted but it’s hard to get people to take a couple steps back rather than just getting them to wait to take those steps.

We we don’t like young guys cycling but if a 20 year old comes in with multiple cycles under his belt.... oh well.

I think you have a lot of valid points and I hope OP will consider them.

El Gringo, I wish you provided a post like this initially. Actually some very good advice and it is appreciated. I was not asking if I was fat, overweight, etc, and just cutting somebody down is a very poor approach. Something that I would not expect anybody to take graciously. I dont believe I asked anybody if I was fat. I was asking about that cycle.....and I do plan to create a log this go around.

I will post a picture showing where I was at before I started on TRT, just over 2 years ago. You will see a major improvement. I was getting nowhere working out, partially because of low T (total T was 148 before I started TRT), partially because of diet, and partially because of age. Dieting and training takes a different approach over 40 as results just do no happen as quickly as they did in your 20's and 30's.

I am taking a realistic approach to my lifestyle, which means that I am not going to go on a full on diet and totally restrict myself from going to dinner, having drinks, etc. That is why my goal is to get to 12-14% bodyfat. Knowing myself very well that is realistic, as I dont have the dedication for a strict diet 100% of the time.....when I take that approach I get burned out and completely fall off the wagon. I have and do follow a much cleaner diet and have been doing so for at least a year. I am also on Atenelol for blood pressure and headaches. That is a beta blocker that slows your metabolism......literally it is very difficult for me to get a heart rate over 130 even when I am dying with cardio, which makes losing fat even that much more difficult.

Surprisingly, my lipids aren't as horrible as you think. They are not perfect, but not too bad and are monitored every 10 weeks. Within my log, I will also post my initial blood work that I am getting next week. I am impatient, 45 years old, and attending some events in which the majority of men are much younger and in better shape in Spring and Summer of next year with my wife who is 10 years younger then me and in very good shape. Needless to say, I am willing to cycle in order to speed some results up. If I was in my 20's it would be a very different story, but at my age I dont really have the time to just let things happen naturally over the next couple of years.

18% was a guess because believe it or not I was at 26% at the time of the picture I am going to post. You are probably right, my BF is probably higher, but I dont think it is any greater than 22%.

I have read the same about Masteron. I take that mainly because it does make me feel pretty good and is a positive for my libido. I am all about anything that helps with libido (Test/Mast/Cialis), etc. I think aestetic wise you are correct, that at my BF you won't notice much adding in the Masteron. It is relatively safe in comparison to the other stuff I take, so just feeling wise I want that in my cycle.

I definitely wont revert back to how I used to eat and lying on the couch, etc. I have made a huge lifestyle change and have been following it, that is why I also wont go to extremes on dieting. I know this limits my potential, but that is why I set my goal at 12-14%. That could adjust in the future, but I know extremes never have worked for me.

Lastly, good work on yourself. You look great. I just would not take the approach of responding to a post saying "very fat". I have thick skin, but there was no point to that response. I do love the constructive advice, however.

I wouldn't get too caught up in the BF% numbers as 15% looks different on everyone. You're obviously moving in the right direction and that's really all that matters. Nice work so far!

    Aside the arguments and BS

Id run 200 mg of tes a wk for 10 wks dieting.

Then add in 200 mg of tren if you really want and 400mg of mast. But i think you should start with a more diet/recomp til you are in better shape for a mass/recomp type cycle. Tren is going to make cardio interesting as well....

Seems like you might have some health/medication reasons not to monkey with tren.

I was thinking along these lines as well.

If you're getting your lipids checked in 10 weeks, i would reconsider running tren. That alone will cause havoc on them.

    Great job on your progress.
