    Why test with tren?

    Need help/clarification......1st time trying Tren. If Tren is 5x more powerful than Test, and research says that its properties are a descendant of Test, than why do gear heads say you can't run Tren alone and have to add Test to it to keep libido? Hve also read that it increases sex drive, so i'm a little confused on this subject. Have only tried EQ up to this point, and then tried running T for the 1st time 6 months ago. Ran it by itself with minimal 300mg/week and starting ripping in 3-4 weeks. So why can't Tren be done the same? I'm 6' foot, 215 lbs, x-athlete so know how to weight train.

    You should probably actually study up a little bit about what you are doing. Any exogenous hormones that you take are going to shut down your own production of testosterone. If you tie tren, or any other AAS, without supplementing testosterone you will be without testosterone. From your post alone one could reasonably conclude you rely don't know what you are doing with respect to AAS and should probably do a lot more research and learning before using any AAS, much less something as potent as tren.

    I say this not to be a dickhead, but to maybe help you to keep from fking yourself up in the long run. You can mitigate side effects and consequences of what you do through a better understanding of what it is you are doing and how things actually work.

    I actually appreciate that. Thats all I'm trying to do is understand! Like I said earlier my first research on Tren said that it "increases sex drive", not "kill it", which is what I hear from other experienced users. I thought Tren had Test properties to it. Using Test alone blocks your own production, but I was like a porn star when I was on it! Lol. So any info will help. And your right about not wanting to fck myself over. I never load up on anything. Just wondering if an experienced athlete/weight trainer can use this in very low doses and still get good results w/out stacking. Thanks alot though!

    Every cycle you run should have testosterone as a base. You can run the test lower, but personally I wouldn't ever run under 200 mg/week.

    Saying tren shares qualities with test is like saying ibuprofen shares qualities with naproxen.

    It's not the same drug

    And you need to test along with the tren because of the negative feedback loop. When you inject tren your body stops making test in response to that.

    Having no test is not optimal for gains

    So with ALL cycles you run test. Even orals.

    Tren is a derivative of nandrolone. Nandrolone, is a deviation of the test molecule. lol hopefully you'll understand this, or not.

    Bricks pretty much hit the nail on the head. Keep in mind however that any test you run while on tren is simply to maintain "baseline" test levels. There is no point to run large amounts of test with tren, the tren is what will give you the anabolic results you are looking for, and by keeping the test levels at a "baseline" you avoid many if not all of the side effects of using test. Tren is a very serious AAS though, and you definitely need to do some more research, some well done and accurate research, there are plenty of people here to help you along the way as well.

    All good advice above. In most of my cycles I keep test low - just to make sure all the "male functions" are running smoothly due to shutdown of natural production.

    Right now I'm running a little experiment on myself - DO NOT DO THIS. I'm an experienced user and I understand the science and my body very well...but I've recently started running Tren Ace at 1g/wk and my Test is at 300mg/wk and have had 0 tren sides thus far (3 weeks in) - to daddyb's point above...keeping your test low(er) just to maintain HPTA function can mitigate a lot of sides.
    The harder I work, the luckier I get.
