The craziest part of that story is that he followed that plan and gained like 37lbs, and somehow didn’t get fatter! How is that possible? Reading the article made me have to loosen my belt....
Well, he did say “didn’t get MUCH fatter”
Theres obviously going to be some fat gain when you do it that quickly lol

Also keep in mind that powerlifter fat is not normal fat :32 (18):

I was actually envious of what he was eating lol. I could eat that easily every day. But I would get MUCH fatter!

Eating is just as mental as training itself. It has to happen whether it be to lose weight or gain weight and build muscle. It comes from eating the right stuff at the right times and consistently training. You have to do what it takes to be successful. Anything short of that failure is imminent. Good luck. Jin is a beast (almost as beastly as me LOL) so do what he says and see what happens.

This is definitely part of the problem for me. I want to stay relatively lean, and so I try "lean bulking". In the end, it just dissolves into maintaining. But...I do want to progress, so I need to change this.

Intake - forgot to add 200 calorie monster energy drink in there, but I still feel like I really didn't eat enough:
food.jpg
The Workout:

Pull Ups
6x8 RI: 45s-1m

Lat Pulldown
5x10 - 180 lb - RI: 45s-1m

Cable Rows
4x8 - 200 lb - RI: 45s-1m

Those things where you lay down and pull the dumbell over your head to active lats/chest. Don't know what they're called
4x10 - 60 lb - RI: 30s

Another variation of cable pulldowns
2x10 - RI: 30s

Lower Back Raises
BW 4x20 - RI: 45s

Threw in some leg extensions
3x12 260 lb - RI: 45s

Crunches
4x12 BW - RI: 45s

Mobility
Streching legs/glutes and foam rolling once again.

Felt like a less than ideal workout.

Jin,

Thank you for taking the time to do this. I hope a lot of young people see this thread. I certainly wish I had seen this sort of thing at his age, and younger, unfortunately. This is really something the entire community needs.

My perspective is this: Think very long and hard before you take manual control of your hormonal system. The only way a person can truly make that decision is by gaining intimate knowledge of that system to understand what you are now responsible to account for. And then also understanding that you may be responsible for manually controlling those things for the rest of your life. A life which may be short if you are not doing things properly. Or it may be really long, in which case you're still having to keep ownership of that process.

I know this now because I did none of this when it counted.

Op has been MIA for 4 days.

I’ve provided my email twice by PM and asked him to contact me. No response.

Most likely I will make a final post and then close this thread in the next couple days.

I am Jack’s disappointment.

That's the coolest thing I've ever seen anyone offer in a forum... That wasn't spam and got deleted before I could click on the link, of course.
