Iím 32 years old just got back into lifting and trying to cut weight while trying to make gains Iím 5í10Ē 288 pounds lift about 3 to 4 times a week and try to go at it with as much intensity as I can hurt my shoulder a little(getting cortisone shots this week) but after that Iím trying to look for some advice on a regimen to look up or to follow to get me going in the right direction to do as much as I can natural before getting last polishing touchís of help from gear. Once that comes around what would be good to start with only thing I have ever taken was andro back in 2005

For starters, I would avoid that cortizone shot.

    Welcome!

Why do you say that?! I’m not sure if that’s what’s going to happen but my chiro thinks that’s what’s going to happen they have been hurt since September and I’ve just been working through it. He said I have compartmental syndrome In both and that if I wanted to play softball in March then they would probably give me the shot?

The shot will mask the pain and help but the issue is it allows you to work through possibly making the injury worse. What's your diet like? That will be the key to get you moving in the right direction.

Cortizone typically removes the pain but delays healing and typically leads to further damage.

Any kind of joint issue short of complete tears is usually best treated with physical therapy.

If that's really true, youre probably way low on calories man. Try and keep track of calories and macros for a few days so we can better help
