Hi all

I'm 37 years old. Irish but was living in Calgary, Alberta for the last 9 years. Here Stateside for the next while which I'm liking so far. You guys say Canadians are friendly but where I'm living people have been very welcoming.

Currently I'm 183lbs, 5'7 and follow a mix between a powerlifting and bodybuilding protocol. In other words I like to lift heavy on my big compounds but for squat. I'm without an ACL and got half a meniscus in my right knee.

Look forward to contributing!

Welcome dude. If that's you in your AVI, you look pretty good man.

What are your goals?

With that title I was thinking whiskey.

Welcome to UG. There's plenty you can do to work around that knee issue. Just put your head down and have at it.

That's me indeed in my pic. My goals are to up my heavy lifts. Deadlift was 565lb, Bench I haven't tested in a while but was 315 5x5. Thinking at my size 185 cut is a good look and keeps me light enough to hike without gassing too much. I'm 174 in that pic so I've got some work to do no doubt!!

Very true! I work around it best I can but I do need to up the intensity. I did the injury last August on the meniscus so being a bit too tentative. It's time and now I have time.

You have to type so many characters for the message to go through.

And what message didn't go through? Is this some bad roast welcome to the board? You could be less cryptic..... Thanks

This board has a minimum character count per post and Long is a man who values brevity.

Also, welcome!
