Noticed it slightly 2 days ago.
Noticed a little more today.
No pain but swelling in both feet and ankles. Never had this before.

Will go get checked out but wondering if anyone has experience with this in our ballpark.

Ankles always retain a little water/edema when e2 is high for me.

Likely not the culprit from what it sounds like though....

Not gear related but different foot wear when on vacationcan does it to me. Slides all day and walking a lot or on a beach sets it off.

Sitting for me, when I'm on a cycle in a calorie surplus. Doesn't matter where my e2 is. Always at work they get puffy, and I'm up and down a lot at work (sitting/standing). Calorie deficit, regular cardio, no problems.

I struggled with this during peak planting season.

Turns out it was nothing related to hormones.

The cause was inadequate sedentary time. I did not spend enough time sitting or laying down.

It resolved as soon as my 85 hour work-week went back to a ~70-hour work week.

Perhaps you need more rest?

The way AAS can be associated via peripheral edema, due to retention of water and/or lymphatic fluid. Sodium, potassium, aldosterone, RBC, WBC, T cells, and more are affected by AAS.

Thus, AAS can be a cause of peripheral edema and any other form of edemA.

If I misinterpreted what you wrote, and you already knew the above, I apologize.

Thanks all.

@Jin.. I've been running a little high but it's been like that for a while and never had this....my gut says that isn't it. Thanks.

@Hulk..no apologies needed, you've taken time to give me information with intentions of help, so thanks. Also, I'm not too busy right now so it's not a rest issue.

@Bricks..I'm in a calorie deficit, so I can rule that out. Thanks.

@Snake.. this is interesting and I NEVER would have put this together since it's the first time this is happening. I've never really worn slides or sandals except for a walk back and forth from a pool but this summer, especially the last week or so I've been wearing slides a lot with alot of walking.
The timing coincides perfectly with what's going on.
I'm going back to sneakers for a while and see if it helps. Thanks!

Snake do you have any explanation or theory why this would happen?
Doesn't seem logical, yet apparently it is.....

Wish I did. Only guess is the lack of foot support and the swelling is an inflammatory reaction. No support walking on sand in bare feet, angle of the uneven sand along the water line just makes the ankles grumpy is all I could think of. They do go down by the next morning.

Thanks.
Ive been elevating my feet the last 2 nights and in the morning they are fine.
Yesterday i was away and only had slides so they swelled up again.
this morning they were back down and im back to wearing sneakers.

Thanks for the heads up bro, this could have been a needle in the haystack to figure out.

mine do this too. I wear ankle cut socks and by the evening I have an indention from the damn sock. by morning its gone. If I take a Lasix (fluid pill) it will stop for a while so I guess its my body retaining too much fluid for whatever reason

Gayitis or a STD is my guess. Stuffing a foot ankle deep into a warm and moist bacteria filled environment can cause a few side effects, but I am no Dr.
