No. Wear appropriate clothing and make sure you are properly warmed up.

It snows 8 months out of the year here in the mountains. Cold weather is great for eating big and lifting big.

This, wear enough clothing so that you are taking some off as you warm up.

I grew up in North Dakota. Pretty sure it doesn't hinder growth.

Copy that everyone, I appreciate the information.
I just wasn't sure if the cold temperatures would make my body go into a survival state and just burn more calories and eat muscle.

You make it seem as if you don’t have access to the great indoors

I work outdoors a fair bit of the time.

Like the Bros said, nothing better to fire-up an appetite than hard labor in the cold.

Also like the Bros said, ye need layers and ye need to be cognizant of when ta' remove 'em so ye can avoid sweating as long as possible.

Sweat + single digit temps = hypothermia.

TL;DR - nah, ye won't lose yer gainz being outdoors. Eat big and dress appropriately.
