Well this is an empty place.
I was reallu tempted to post on the main forum for exposure but my post belongs perfectly here so I'm going to try my luck..

37 / m / 248 lb / 6'4 / %26 bf

Total T: 216 (286 - 802) ng/dL

Estrogen: 15 (11 - 44) pg/mL

I don't get it. What does it mean that estrogen is at the lower end when testosterone is also low?

I expected my estrogen to be high since I have ALL the symptoms - muscle mass is shot to oblivion, gut, carrying most of the fat on thighs, buttocks, belly and hips, depression, low tolerance to stress, no libido.

Furthermore, 2 years ago my estrogen was 32.6 (7.6 - 43.0) pg/mL...at the higher end of the reference rage.
And my testosterone was (and had been for a long time) smilar to now.
Nothing else changed in my lifestyle or diet. So why is Estrogen suddenly much lower? Why was it high before?

Should I ask them to repeat the test?

Thoughts?

My results from a few years ago...

Test converts to e2. You having low test means you have less to convert to e2 in the first place.

All of the symptoms you mentioned are also indicative of low T.

As for your previous numbers with higher e2, have you lost any weight between the two tests?

First off welcome aboard and yes, this the perfect place for this.

Iron1 has your question covered but I want to give you some solid advice.

I'm assuming you had this blood work done through a GP? He (hopefully not a female) should see that and get you started on Testosterone Replacement Theory. I'm also assuming that he suspected something because TT and TE are not normally tested for in routine blood work.

Trust me on this; it's good you came in just under the low end. 100 ng/dL more and you still feel like shit and be told you are in range. I can not over emphases my next statement. YOU NEED TO GET ON TRT NOW. You're so close that if it goes up a little, you will not get a script for testosterone. If you are asked to go for another test, don't. Push for TRT. You may only have one bite at the golden apple here so listen and don't step on your dick. Your doctor should have started you on TRT with those results from a few years ago so I question his knowledge or willingness to use TRT.

There's a lot more to learn and we can go over it as soon as you get on TRT. We will walk you through it.

Get that script ASAP like Snake said... never mind his misogyny, my Mrs. doc is willing to go as high as 200mg/week if needed... (she’s a D.O. Though, she’s an exception to the rule!)
like Ron said, T converts to E so that’ll jump as well.

Yes. 16 lb (7 kg). But the fat is at the same percentage; %26.

I don't have a doc. I'm not in the US at the moment and no such docs around me, so I'm on my own. I could get test without much issue though.

The thing is, I'm trying to see if I can get my body to produce by itself and exhaust my options there before I start TRT. Any pointers? Judging by the lab results, I'd say I'm secondary.

I’m not a doctor but just judging from your age and the fact that your test levels have not improved even with some weightloss tells me you are on the downhill slide. Even if you got your test levels to raise, it wouldn’t be to an optimum level. Take their advice and get on trt. You will feel like a new man.
