Just did a double red cell donation couple days ago, not because I need to my numbers are perfect but because they are calling for it.

The conversation I had with the tech while I was donating, he says they dont really need it, the hospitals aren't really using it they're freezing it.

I do double red cell donation every 4-6 months with the community blood drive near me.

I started doing double last year since my iron levels stay around the 17 mark.
