Hey folks. I'd like to introduce myself. I'm Jim and I've been training steadily for 10 years.
I'm 35 years old and I began lifting weights when i was locked up and have continued to be obsessed. As a youngster I was obese and I've become obsessed with lifting weights. I bounced around between 200 at at my heaviest as an adult and around 165 where i felt super lean and thin, 5'8" after losing almost an inch - the injuries have started to rack up. My right shoulder is a mess and and my back pain has prevented me from doing exercises like deadlifts, heavy bent rows, straight leg deadlift, etc. , . I've done a full cycle of osta last summer (first time ever doing anything) and it was okay. Maybe put on 3 lbs total. At that point i'd already have been lifting for 9 years so I was a little dissapointed but not surprised. Added another otc with it after our vacation. Had some sides without noticing any gains. feelsbadman. I'm back up to about 70 percent strength in my right shoulder after 5 years at like 60%. After going off and waiting a few weeks was back to my normal self. Honestly my natural t felt stronger hard to say... sex drive came back feels good.
Well, thats my history with this particular subject. Super surprised I haven't noticed this forum beforehand and hello again everyone.
Oh I got started by reading muscle and fitness in 2010. Not sure the average age of the members here, I would just recommend any new lifters to master your form and listen to the older guys with regards to preserving your joints and connective tissue. Happy Quarantine
