Quad Shaking when isolated

Ive been struggling with my right leg activation since my return to the gym, post covid shut downs. My right quad doesn’t seem to want to wake up during lifts. I don’t notice it during a squat or running but when I get into auxiliary lifts my left quad will get pumped up just fine and easy and my right quad acts weak. The strength in my right quad is incredibly weak. What’s bizarre is that in a leg extension my right leg shakes uncontrollably. It’s mostly at the top of the extension. If I use both legs I can tell my left leg does all the work. I try to isolate my right leg but it gets fatigued after a couple sets with 10-15lbs eventually shaking throughout the whole movement . Compare that to my left leg who is happy to lift 45lbs by itself and will get a nice pump. I can flex my right quad so it’s not dead dead...but it’s not seeming to want to participate. There’s no pain involved.
I’ve done some scouring of the Internet to see if I could find anything on it but came up with two people complaining but no real answers.
Let me know what’s worked for you.
I keep thinking it’ll wake up on its own but it’s been 2 months of weak/shaky right quad syndrome.

I could easily be wrong but it could be ur Sartorius? It might not show pain there going from ur hip down across ur leg to you're knee. But that was one of the many things I had ****ed up from the army in my leg.

That specific muscle wouldn't hurt my top inside knee would swell though which could have been part of that or one of the many others. But it would cause my leg to shake if I just paid down and slowly tried to extend and retract from the knee.

I can't really say what I did to fix it cause it comes and goes for me still after 2 1/2 3 years of physical therapy i had for everything back then. But it for the 90 95% of the time doesn't bother me

So best I can say it google for that muscle and or hope someone here has something better to say or can add on more to the sag muscle

One hamstring tighter than the other? Could be preventing full extension in the leg with the tight hammy.

Jackblack, when this started was there any kind of injury involved?

I would definitely go see some kind of specialist maybe a physical therapist, neurologist, sports medicine clinic? Idk no experience with it personally.
