21's are really helping me break my plateau I was having.

technically i guess i’m not doing 21’s cause i guess really it’s when you use barbells and do 7 full 7 half and 7 quarter reps but i just use that technique for full reps and drop weight every 7 reps

Actually I believe they are 7 full reps, 7 half reps bottom range, and 7 half reps top range of the exercise aren't they?

Some of the magic in 21s is the reps. Not sure where your rep range is/was but there's a fair chance the shift from 10 reps to 21 sparked something.... or I could be wrong.

Regardless, if you're improving, note it for the next plateau. Personally, I wish I was stuck on a plateau.

What are 21's?

7 reps bottom range of motion
7 reps top range of motion
7 reps full range of motion

Think the old plate loaded overload machines with the 3 positions for the plates.
