Is an hour of cardio too much when trying to gain muscle?

Hi,

For cutting the best is make cardio bettween 120 to 140 bpm , more than that you will start to lose muscle .

And this isn't true at all. There are so many factors that need to be taken into consideration for breaking down muscle. It's not that simple.

I ride a bicycle {in a club, very fast} about 10 hours/ week and I’m still bulking. Calories in, calories out.
Ronnie Coleman used to hit the treadmill 14 hours / week and look where it got him.

Only if you are burning more calories than you are consuming. Sometimes the simple things are lost when overthinking.
