Since I don't know to start a poll, I'll just ask and look at the replies.

When working traps, do you work them on shoulder day or back day?

I'm curious as to how most of you work them in.

When I used to work traps I would throw in 1-2 exercises at the end of my shoulder day

I add 2 work outs both at end of shoulder and back day one thing my fat ass got is some traps

I working them on both shoulder and back day as they are a lagging muscle group for me ... I no longer squat or deadlift (flippin knees / getting old) .. but trap dev is mission critical ....

Back day = strug
Shoulder day = trap machine / + whatever the exercise is called lifting 35 pound plate from arms straight out in front then raised direct overhead (great trap exercise) ...

I do them w both!
Traps are like forearms & calf's and can take a beaten!!!

I guess it sounds crazy because I hit them on back and shoulder day, but then again on leg day when I do deadlifts.

So back day is mostly lower traps, and shoulder day is more upper with shrugs.

I hit them twice a week, on Upper day (Sunday) and then again on Pull day (Wednesday).

I have a trap day... 18 sets of traps

JK I hit shrugs on shoulder day and I’ll do a face pull or something that’ll hit the traps on back day at the end

I must be lazy, I have never been able to be bothered to load up a bar or even take the time to do shrugs at the end of a workout. Plus I feel like they get plenty of work with deadlift variations and bent over rows.
