Mine was for football too. I think the first little program I made for myself in 7th grade for football was situps and concentration curls, that is it.
I'm a bit too old to remember my 1st goal ... to be honest I did not start lifting until I was 38 years old ... I remember watching NFL Combine ... where those guys could lift 225 for reps ... at the time I could not life 225 one time ... 185 was my max for 18 months ... that was my 1st goal ...I remember the 1st time I got 225 up unassisted ... it felt great ... my max reps of 225 is 8 times ... that was a few years ago ...295 max single rep ...
To break my little guy mold...at 125lbs at 31... something had to be done...Then to break the 200lb mark...got close a few months ago 198.6,but fell back..I will make it... it's just been ruff these last few yrs..

I think Im so awful that Im good, accidentally doing the "play hard, to little get". If I get left on read, I just get on with my day and don't think about. Stumbling my way to the endzone
