Queen's Gambit

Several excellent movies/series have been mentioned on the board lately, apologies if this was one of them. Netflix's Queens Gambit was one if the better series I have watched in a long time, and I binge watch a lot of stuff. Highly recommend this one.

Just an amazing show. It was like watching a fascinating train wreck. Brilliant! Absolutely loved it. My 17 year old who is an intermediate chess player thought it was perfect

Great series. I used to play in my teens. Made me want to run get a board out. Plus the lead actress was brilliant in her portrayal of addiction.

Yes, excellent watch. That actress is very versatile, loved her in "Split"...beutiful big brown eyes.

I thoroughly enjoyed this. Binged it too. But I lost interest about half way through I believe season 2. After she goes to NY. Before battling the Russians.

Agreed, I did not think it would be good when I agreed to watch it with the wife but halfway through the first episode I was hooked

We caught it last month for a binge, fantastic series with great full circle ending. Crazy how hair/make up/clothes can have such a dramatic difference on a woman, homely AF then a damn fox!!
