Hey guys,

Glad to meet everyone - to start off, I'll be the first to say I'm not genetically gifted (physically). I worked out natty from age 18 to 30. I've had so many injuries and while I did see progress, it was always 2 steps forwards 1 step back. I consider myself to be a ectomorph/mesomorph combo more leaning towards ectomorph. I wanted to maximize my body, so I decided to hop on gear.

Feel free to make fun of my stats, haha: 5' 5", currently 151 pounds. I entered college around 117 pounds, and made natty gains up to 142 (staying around 12% body fat). I have done 1 cycle of Test Cyp 350mg/week, I gained up to 148-149ish, and off cycle came down to 146ish.

I am currently on my second cycle (1st 2 months 400 test cyp/week) - gained up to 151, but now have stagnated and bumped up my dosage to test 500mg/week. I am going to the Gym every day with one off day (push pull leg split, compound lifts, lifting heavy for me. I'm pretty exhausted sore most days in some part of my body.

Dieting wise I eat 2,400 calories/day, 180 g protein, 240 g Carbs, and the rest from fat. I'm very regimented in my diet. Any help to break through the plateau would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Good intro. Those are somewhat mild doses of test for a “cycle” as you’ll see a lot of guys start in the 4-500mg range and end up in the 750 range for subsequent cycles if there are no or limited, tolerable, sides. As in your other thread, eat, eat, and then eat some more but keep it clean. As Jin mentioned in your other thread, test cyp is really just to peak levels at about the 6 week point so unless it’s bunk gear you should start seeing progress. But of course you must eat

Proper intro and ye making good progress. Stay in a caloric surplus. If yer not gaining and yer training hard, eat more.

great avitar for starters

400 does do the trick early on in my experience

then will bump up to 600 midway then back down to 400 at the end

makes thing less abrupt

eases into the higher bp and hairloss so its not so much of a "holy shit"

ramping down is cool too imo

feels less like having the carpet yanked out from under you

if someone is a pro or prepping for a contest or meet that may not be the best way to do it

but for someone like me (an old fart) trying to stay in the game as long as possible its pretty chill
