What happened to Bruce Willis?!...by far one of the best action stars ever...now he might as well be Nicholas Cage.
Popping up in every B movie known to man and the acting is so bad I can't sit through them.

I asked my uncle this the other day. He said Demi has to get paid.

"Bruce Willis is back as the tough John McClane in a new action-packed commercial for DieHard batteries."

It doesn't sound though like he went crazy spending like Nick Cage did . It still seems like Bruce is a rich man. It is still probably a nice feeling being Bruce Willis on a movie set.

I made it 5 minutes into Netflix’s “Hard Kill” or whatever. The acting all around and dialogue was bad, but Bruce Willis was on the cover.

I like the guy buy was his acting ever really "good"? Like his range as an actor seemed to be pretty limited to playing an emotionally shallow tough-guy.

Not getting any important roles but just like every actor still wants to stay in the limelight so takes whatever he can?
Just my two cents.

Sixth Sense and 12 Monkeys... a bit more than just a tough guy

Agree those aren't tough guy roles... at the same time I definitely feel like I'm watching a role written for Bruce Willis, as opposed to Bruce Willis acting to fit the intended role. Does that make sense?

Don't get me wrong... that's not trash talk at all, I still enjoy all his older movies. I haven't watched anything he's done in recent years, so can't comment on that.

These two pulp fiction and the die hard trilogy were his best films. Now he seems to like playing a soldier a lot?

Ha. I even liked die hard three. :32 (15):

I forget about 12 Monkeys. That is a great movie.
Don't forget, Bruce was also the star of Moonlighting that went off the air in the 80s. He already had a full career by the time he did 12 Monkeys and that was from 1995.
Grandpa the action hero doesn't work for me. It is not like he is Brando with his acting ability.
