pretty amazing special effects for 1997. Somehow movies nowadays with CGI look less realistic.

The quality of movies have gone down tremendously due to CGI.

Any of u guys watch kingdom on Netflix? Probably one of the best series I’ve watched in a long time. I cracked out and watched all three seasons in like two weeks. It’s about and MMA gym in Venice CA. It’s ****ing awesome. I’m not even a huge mma fan but this show is insane. Def recommend.

Rocky part 3 and 4, terminator, commando, all the movies I grew up with that I enjoy watching were about strength, power and dominance

I remember as a kid watching these movies in my living room with my boxing gloves and my Rambo knife on me. good times…


Nowadays, it’s about gender, submission and conceding to the weak.

How times have changed……

Looking back, I’m kind of surprised my parents would let me have a Rambo knife. And so much freedom to do what I wanted.

I would say My parents were considered free range. We were free to do whatever we wanted, but always kept in line, as long as I got home at 6 PM for dinner with the family,, Everything was all good

Glad my parents gave us a lot of freedom as kids, and we able to choose our own path with very little direction in life. My parents saw themselves as examples for us to follow , not for them to tell us how to live our lives.

if I had to do my childhood over again, I wouldn’t change anything. I had very loving and caring parents that did a great job in raising me and I couldn’t ask for better parents. but they’re all dead now and so is the rest of my family. I’m the only one left. They are all dead.

As far as movies go I think Casino Royale 2006 is my favorite one to watch again.

TV series I gotta go with Miami Vice, it is a timeless classic. 80's atmosphere and all that crime life in Miami scene.
