Blood Donation

I hate when I donate and feel all sluggish / sleepy all day but I did today to keep RBC down.

RBC was 14.9 pre blood draw so I'm fine.

I donate every 2 months, like you I feel sluggish that day but then I end up feeling so much better. My hematocrit isn't very high, but I am not taking chances with it.

I have to donate weekly while on cycle. My hEmatocrits normally hover around high 50's off cycle, shit gotten up to low 80's on cycle so ya i need to drain my shit often. Dont feel sluggulish after tho.

I usually donate on my off workout day. That way it gives me a day to recover without trying to workout drainded and weak.

They said half way thru filling the bag the flow just about stopped =O . So, they started moving the needle around & shit. Hurt like a mother....aholes

Same here last week. The joys of having thick blood. It never feels good when they move a 14g needle around in your arm.
