How do I make my needle shorter?

I remember a text i read a few years ago that was a guide on how to make ur syringe needle shorter using the needle cap.

Anyone know where i can read that? I need to shorten my needle for deltoids

Oh c'mon, we're just teasing you.

You can simply not push the needle in as far. I wouldn't put anything on the needle itself to stop it, as I think that could raise the chance of infection.

The needle goes back n forth so easy in the muscle tho.

I found the article. Just cut the needle cap and have it on. So it function as a guard. Works wonder

Make sure that whatever you cut that cap with is sterile, because at some point that needle will end up touching the cap.
