Low dose Tren, how long would you run it?

I added low dose Tren A (300mg/wk) 4 weeks ago as part of a recomp I'm doing, had zero negatives, feel great and recomp seems to be in progress pretty well. Had a DEXA scan done a couple days ago and at a curb weight of 216lbs I'm at 11.7%BF now, I (think) I was probably around 14-15% or so. Had bloods done the other day as part of my yearly with my doc and everything looks awesome. Ideas?

1. If your bloodwork looks good then you aren’t on Tren. Were you on cycle?

2. 300 is not low dose.

3. No rules. Only consequences.

300 is a low dose? For me 100mg/week, assuming the tren is not undersized, was what I'd consider low.

With that said, I have personally never needed more than ~200 -250mg/week. I always got great results from that dose, with minimal sides (mostly just night sweats... and ravenously horny, not much else for me).

1. I would cycle for 8 weeks with Tren-A (I prefer tren-e, and have gone 12 weeks on it), but there were times I cut short at 6 weeks because sometimes the night sweats drove me crazy.

2. My lipids were always thrashed (though still better than most people)... and would take anywhere between 4-6 weeks to return to normal.

3. I eventually put together the following concoction, and it significantly mitigates LDL and HDL issues on tren. If you want to know specifically what each item is doing then feel free to ask. The amounts might seem low, but I took them 2x daily and the effect of these items stack. There are other goodies you could throw in, but I think anything beyond will result inn significantly diminished returns... so might as well save some $$$

4. Regarding the items below, if an item says phytosome then that's important. As the phyto version has significantly better bioavailability. The downside is that you pay a premium for this, and it can be hard finding the phytosome versions.

Tudca - 350mg, 2x daily
Bergamot phyto - 400mg, 2x daily
NAC - 350mg, 2x daily
Berberine - 400mg, 2x daily
CoQ10 phytosome - 200mg, 2x daily
Cardarine - 10mg, 1x daily
Cialis - 5mg, 1x daily

150-200 is low dose imho

Comparing between tren cycles where I did/didn't use this recipe. This is from a journal I keep where I track this type of thing. Both sets of numbers were pulled from the end of week 3 of the respective tren cycles.

* Glucose decreased from 110 to 72
* LDL decreased from 155 down to 74
* HDL increased from 12 to 34
* AST decreased from 49 U/L to 25 U/L
* ALT decreased from 32 U/L to 14 U/L

Indirectly related... Hematocrit was at 42, but for some reason I didn't record what it was before I started taking this.

I buy the powders for all this and cap it myself, but it's still pretty expensive to put this together. So I only run this when I am on a cycle where I'm worried about my lipids or liver

Anecdotally speaking, I "felt" better when I took these supplements on a tren cycle compared to when I didn't. This could just be placebo effect, but the numbers from blood work makes me believe that maybe it's legit and not just in my mind.

You may also notice that while by precious blood values weren't great... they weren't necessarily horrendous either. Unfortunately I am the only guinea pig I have to test on, so I can only speculate that people with more extreme numbers will see an improvement, but I can't say of they would be as significant as mine.

I should add that the cialis is in there for prostate health. It does absolutely nothing for glucose, lipids, or liver values. I just wanted to make that clear before someone else called it out :D

I only have it at 300/wk vs my TRT dose of 200. From what I read (who the hell knows) seems many have minimized sides by doing it that way with the lose dose cycles. I was gonna bump it up more but I typically have till around 400-450 or so before the acne kicks, so stayed lower.

Haha, if I want to be real anal about it my cholesterol is a little upside down, but being a former low carb high fat eater I’m not afraid of that because I know it’s near meaningless in most cases. My sdLDL is higher than I’d like it but not crazy either, easy enough to fix.

My source is legit, very proven (and tested constantly) and all his results have always been great. I think next time I’ll up stuff a little to see where it goes but since this was my first dance with tren I wanted to tread lightly, or so I thought.

I just finished 10 weeks of tren a at 300mg ew and I had no sides. Leaned out quite a bit as well

I have read similar accounts regarding low dose testosterone with higher (even high) dose tren, the theory being that the androgen receptors prefer to latch onto the tren, leaving the testosterone with nothing to do but cause miserable side effects and mischief. Of course I have no idea if that’s true, but wondered what your experience was. Thank you.

I've done both low dose/trt test with up to 300mg of Tren, and standard 500mg Test + 250mg Tren. I felt like the experience was roughly about the same.

The only difference that was obvious to me is that my night sweats were not so bad on low test + tren, compared to 500mg test + tren. I also felt like my muscles looked fuller on 500mg test vs low dose test while on Tren; although it's possible the latter was just placebo or in my head, but thought I'd mention it all the same.

I've never done what I'd consider a high dose of tren, where I speculate low dose test would mitigate sides the most.

300 isn't low dose. If you feel the need to dose any more than 400 on a cycle you need to reevaluate your nutrition and training.
