    Sweetener

I replaced sugar with Aspartame about maybe 18 years ago chose that one as it has the most research behind it or did and I have a hell of a sweet tooth and nothing is as sweet but in the last months I switch to Stevia not as sweet but I like it I did try it 2 or 3 times in the 18 years just to toss the bag away for Aspartame.

What do you use and I'm not looking for sweetener battle just what to hear your choice as it seemed to me most like Splenda.

Splenda or honey. I've read too many studies on aspartame to put it in my body.

I use raw sugar also, sometimes aguave nectar. You might get no cals from the fake sugar but how healthy is that crap really? remember a certain one that was around since the 50's Saccharin proven to cause cancer.

Do more cardio, add in an iu of gh to offset the sugar but give me real stuff over man made stuff any day!

I'm in no position currently to preach my real sugars though since I've put on some fat during my injury time. Maybe in 2-4 months I will comeback to this thread and pimp the natural good stuff when I can back it up lol

Also a note on agave nectar--> it has one of the lowest Gi values of any sweetener (if you hold Gi values as of vital importance) but is also made of almost entirely fructose. Yes fructose that can't be stored as muscle glycogen. If using agave nectar I would limit fruit to ones with lower amounts of fructose (e.g. bananas) and obviously no fruit juices or soda.
