Leaving drawing needle in the stopper?

For my current cycle I've been using 18g to draw Test E and a 23g to inject. As most of you know, 18g is a little too big and tends to break off pieces of rubber into the vial (which has happened a couple of times to me).
What are your thoughts on leaving the 18g needle in the vial, putting a ziploc bag over the top, and using it a few times to save the rubber?

    Not a flame ok!

****ing stupid idea, get 20g and warm that shit up to draw. I can draw my Test C with a 23g!

I wouldnt do that. That would cause the BA to evaporate from the solutikn and your product would no longer be sterile. On 10ml vials you shouldnt be braking off rubber if you are carefull and avoid hitting the same spot more then once.. If u are using 50ml jugs, then i dont recommend drawing from them, other then transfering to a 10ml vial. That way u dont risk contaminating the whole batch. I use an 18 ga and never had a problem braking off rubber.

Milo, that's a great way to contaminate your vial and get an infection. Don't do it. Listen to SFGiants.

If you go in at the correct angle it will not break off the rubber

I have used an 18 gauge to draw for over a year in my trt regimen. I've never had a problem. Although you may want to consider moving to 25 gauge for pinning.

I do agree with SFG (and everyone else). It's not a good idea to leave it in.

I use 22 to draw and dont even have to pull the plunger. It will fill itself. Get some smaller pins to draw with.

I've used an 18g to draw from 10ml vials. I've never had an issue. Also what Lulu said about the jugs maybe more of an issue. I have switched now to 20g since I ran out of 18g.

Re: Leaving drawing needle in the stopper?

Lemme clear this up and say that I did not do this shit lol.
I do rotate spots on the stopper but a couple slivers of rubber have got in regardless. I'm just going to dispose of the 18s and get some 20s.

I draw with 18g, and it leaves a hole, but damn it draws up quick.

This is what I do and I have never had a problem.

I agree with everyone else here - take IM injections seriously and keep your gear sterile brother.

Re: Leaving drawing needle in the stopper?

Leaving the needle in the vial is a bad idea due to the high risk that bacteria can enter the sterile solution. If you enter vial in the middle each time you should not have rubber breaking off. The vial should re-seal itself. Is there something possibly wrong withe the vial?

Re: Leaving drawing needle in the stopper?

I use an 18 to draw with as well. When using jugs I have had the rubber break off, but I can usually suck it right out and toss the syringe without wasting much product. I have yet to have it happen with a 10 ml vial. You can get it out, it's not that big of a deal bro.
