    Elbows kept buckling???

    Mixed up chest routine a little today and went with flat dumbells; 80x10, 90x10, 100x8, and 110xNOTHING!!! I'm suprised my arms were that fatigued, my elbows kept breaking...couldn't hold the weight although I know I could have pressed it! Dropped back down to 80lbs to 10reps just to finish. Then on to incline hammer strength; 185x10, 225x10, 225x8, 195x10. On to cable flies, mid and upper 80-110. Finished up with triceps; close grip, skull crushers. Anyway, post was about my elbows and what to do?

    Triceps are not recovered or getting over trained and falling back. When I encounter this I immediately switch my session to cables and flyes first, then presses.

    Sorry, yeah triceps were giving out and that is usually not a problem. I think in that position 10lbs can make a difference. My chest would push it but my trics wouldn't hold it!
