    Cold

    I was just wondering if you guys workout when your feel a bit under the weather.

    Here's what happened to me this week. I'm into my 2nd week of my primo cycle. And, wouldn't you know yesterday I started coming down with a cold. I don't want to stop working out and luckily it's not too bad (my cold I mean).

    Today I had chest and biceps. I was amazed how strong I felt. I'm really glad I went in today!

    Do you work out on days you don't feel 100%?

    Here are the things that would stop me from hitting the gym. The shits, nausea and also a bad headache. The sniffles won't keep me from working out.

    short answer is yes..

    if its too much as in head hurts or just straight up miserable I will take a day off..

    I had the worst cold since Thursday last week - muscled through on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.. Took Monday off, and yesterday after I hit the gym I felt great.

    I feel like the gym actually sped up me getting over the cold.

    Its that time of year. I have a sinus infection and feel like my heads gonna a explode with an eruption of yellow mucus.

    I usually don't for a couple reasons. Beating down immune system will just keep me sick that much longer. And I don't want to pass the shit to everyone else in the gym.

    Been sick since Saturday. Coughing up mucus and crap. Did not go Saturday or Sunday but went Monday and Tuesday and today.

    Short answer yes. But if it is bad enough that I do not feel like I will accomplish anything I will rest and drink plenty of fluids and watch motivational videos.

    Just had a short flu... Went to gym still cuz it didn't feel too bad. Like defeaton said the shits or spins and I'm staying in. Or a real bad flu, don't want to spread that shit.

    Interesting perspective from both sides, going or not going. I was thinking about it.....**** it if I'm going to my office I am getting my ass to the gym. If I'm not getting out of bed then no way I not going to the gym.

    For the record, I did wipe everything down and did my best not to cough on anyone...

    I will say I feel better knowing I got my ass in there....and not just did I go but had a great work out which a bit surprising to me and why I posted this originally.

    I'm with DF, headaches suck and worse when trying to lift and with the squirts, well you know....... Lol!!

    I've had nasal congestion and a sinus headache since Saturday. Was at the gym Sat., Mon., and Tues., DEAL WITH IT

    HOT TODDY great for colds and sinus probs.

    One shot of Jack Daniels (black)
    Two table spoons of honey
    One teaspoon of lemon juice....microwave for 20 sec stir, enjoy. If that doesnt get me to the weights I rest and try again tommorow.

    I am one who will try to push through no matter what.....however when I have a damn sinus infection and my head feels like it was split with a hatchet......the last thing I can do is anything requiring bending over movements. And I have to agree if the stomaches iffy, I not squatting. But I do like to get the blood pumping and moving with some light work when I am sick, because I usually feel better afterward.
