    First Timer Cycle

    I've been thinking of starting var . However, I have heard that with steroids you get hungrier and there's a chance of water retention (with var). However, how much more/less calories would I need to consume.

    For the most part I have a high protein, low carb diet between 1200-1800cal/day. I do weights/cardio 5days/week (cardio for an hr, running mostly). I take a protein shake 3x/day.

    I want to start var to get more defined.

    I'm 26
    female
    5'1
    125
    BF: 21%
    Measurements: 36-25-34

    Breakfast: Protein Shake
    Snake: a cup of mixed fruits or nuts
    Lunch: protein, veggies, and a carb (chicken, fish, quinoa, small salad, a slice of WW toast, 1/2 of brown rice)
    Snake: Protein shake (usually 1-2 hrs before my work out)
    Snack: Protein shake after my workout
    Dinner: Protein and veggies

    Thoughts?

    Var is pretty mild. 10mg is a good start. My girl runs it currently and has nothing neg to report
    But quick glance at diet u have 2 two many shakes
    Always try to stick to solid foods unless u are taking a shake PWO

    Agree with Four1Thr33. Swap out that first shake with some eggs / egg whites perhaps. I'm also not seeing much fat for a high protein / low carb diet. Aside from the nuts, what are your other fat sources?

    Yeah 10 is a good start. One shake post workout. You need real nutrition in this game and not shakes. You want to get more defined? Ever think about nutritional help?

    I didn't add a thorough explaination I usually have:
    Peanut butter with toast
    avocado, olives in salads,
    salmon, tuna
    soymilk in my shakes
    sesame/olive oil with salads, or seared fish

    Yes one shake is all u need if any at all
    If u need to add a fat source start cooking in coconut oils and maybe add an avacado as well

    I try to eat more but I work in an office and often stay over time. I barely have time to eat my lunch most days which is why i usually throw down a shake. Plus, I go to the gym staight from work so I throw in a shake so I can run as oppose to food so I dont feel full and naseous :S

    Stay away from soy milk and soy in general. Not a good source of protein for you.

    Coconut oil is a bad fat though, no? I usually add sesame oil or olive oil...

    If you're not afraid of pinning, primo is a good option.. that's what my girl will be running for her first cycle.. also make sure you have a legit connection for primo, I've heard of sources substituting EQ or Test-Cyp, the latter being very problematic for women.

    Coconut oil is actually good for you & the best type of oil to cook with. Here is a link to a site. They have some real good info with some research to back things up. You can search the site all well.

    Also I second what the Sponge said about soy. I used to use soy until I read up on how bad it is for you. I switched to almond milk, which actually tastes better too.

    I tend to agree with mlupi. Although anavar is mild I am not sure your going to get the best possible result. IMO you have 3 options.

    #1. Do not use ass at all (meaning skip the anavar altogether). Simply increase cardio and reduce calories. Although your measurements portray the perfect woman 36-24-34. You want to be more lean. You could achieve that goal best through an optimized diet. I'd consider contacting Spongy to get some professional advice in this area. Make no mistake about it, everyone can improve their diet.

    #2. Pinning primo or primo & mast may be your best ass direction. Hopefully our female super mod Jenner will drop by. I am sure she could offer some excellent suggestions for you. Or, perhaps reach out to her through PM.

    #3. HGH. This is a long term more expensive strategy. However, its overall wellness and leaning attributes are legendary. And, for good reason as it works!

    With all this said, I will say I've used anavar and it does work well (IMO combined with other compounds or as a cycle started or finisher). For me it was more of a strength enhancer. I will add I did retain water with it. I will add it also with effect you lipids so I would recommend a blood test before and after.

    In any case, whatever you choose ~ good luck moving closer to your goals.
