    new kind of peanut butter

    does this stuff look any good? http://www.nuts-n-more.com/shop/ at first i thought it would be really good until I noticed there is whey protein in there. at first i was thinking all the extra protein was from peanuts, if it would've been from real food that would have been better than whey wouldn't it? or else what's the difference i might as well have a protein shake? am i correct in thinking this? or else I wanted to try it if the protein was all from peanuts, now not so sure. what do you think? here's a screenshot of the nutrition info:

    I would think that would be better than reg PB as far as protein, I would say..... Why not? I f you replace when you eat reg. PB with this PB.

    Interesting, im gonna look into that

    Yeah for sure I wanted to try it and was about to place an order but, just got hesitant and wanted to check here. So, is this not anything different than if I just took my own PB I have now and just mixed a a scoop of whey in there? Or you think this stuff would be better? Also, for a bulking diet can you just snack on this stuff throughout day/night? I see it has fat but, is that the good fat from the peanuts/almonds? so I wouldn't have to worry about that or would I?

    Its not terrible, but why wouldn't you want the ability to control your macros more? If you use lean meats and things like avocados, almonds and evoo, you have more ability to manipulate your macros. Someone correct me if I am wrong, but, while not bad, the PB is not the cleanest/greatest source of fat. And, it comes with sugar.

    yes, its cal dense and does have the sugar. but it depends on when you eat it......a tiny bit of sugar 1st thing AM or post WO is good. but than you have to figure the fats will slow things down. so its a interesting when your going to eat it.

    Thanks for the feedback! I may just try it for the hell of it. As far as sugar, 1g is hardly anything? I'm pre-diabetic and I wouldn't even normally worry about that much. I have more sugar in my fage greek yogurt (7g) than this. Am I missing something?

    Agree with the Bros: if you want protein with your peanut butter, add a scoop of whey so you can control your macros. Would be substantially cheaper and less sugar as well.
