So tonight we have an Arturo Fuente Don Carlos No. 4. It's origin is the Dominican Republics, as are both the filler and binder. The wrapper is Cameroon and it is a Mini Belicoso, so not a large cigar by any means. Basically it's the size of a Petite Corona but with a tapered head.
My biggest problem with the Belicoso size is that there are times that I feel they try to put too much into it. So much so that every puff is different and there is no consistency. Don't get me wrong, I love it when the flavors transition over the life of the cigar, but it needs to be smooth, not forced...
The wrapper is sweet and lights easily. The burn is very even throughout and the draw provides just the right amount of resistance I'm looking for. There is no delay on this cigar. The flavor hits immediately and does not back down.
Remember what I was saying about trying to pack too much into such a small cigar? Not the case with this. The flavor is consistent throughout and not overly complex, which was fine for this evening. Overall, just a classic Cameroon flavor.
Spongy's Rating - 87 - A great, frequent burn

Love cigars. It's gonna suck when I join the fire department, we have to be tobacco free our entire career.

Re: Spongy's Cigar Lounge
I was into the stogie years ago. I still have my humidor though. I had my gf friend bring me back some Cubans when she went on vacation to Cuba. I got the humidor ready. Got the cigars put them in. Opened the humidor a couple weeks later. Moldy! Argh! I about cried.
