I am an avid gun enthusiast... favoring pistoles to rifles. I really enjoy my 2nd Gen Glock 17 9mm. The advantages over a revolver are obvious... so why in the world would Glock put out a revolver?? It makes no sense.

Most of the guys that I know that carry, carry revolvers. Ever seen a revolver jam? I've seen a Glock 17 jam plenty.

Glocks are what some people would refer to as the AK of pistols. But honestly ive seen my 32c jam a couple times. Ill stick with my xdm 40. POB is right, never seen a revolver jam.

It's not real. They aren't making a wheel gun.

Revolvers have the benefit of not throwing hot shell casings around the room. Ever shoot right next to someone else and have have hot brass get in your collar?

Get you a 1st generation Colt 45. My dream gun is the 1873 Colt 45 with 10.5 barrel. But at a cost of $30,000 I think I will wait a while. I do have a 1885 Colt 45 with the short barrell and it was about half the 1873. I have a glock .40 and it is a great dependable gun. I have fire thousands of rounds without 1 jam. I also have the H&K .45 target gun, but havent fired it as much..

Sounds good bother and I own a couple sigs at the end of the day I've been carrying my 26 for over 4 years....hell I'm on my third holster. Over 5K rounds and only one misfire deep primer strike but the cartridge was a no go. Hard to beat the glock. It's like fucking fat girls, feels good but you don't want your friends to see you doing it.....I like Fucken fat girls too ;

When a wheel gun doesn't fire just pull the trigger again and get a another chance. I know most LEO's are carrying auto's, and you never see a revolver in a movie. Hard to beat a good revolver for a CCW though.

I shoot pretty often with my buddy. I can't remember a time where any of his autos have actually malfunctioned causing a misfire. Plenty of his handloads have fucked up. Even had a hot 10mm explode in the chamber of his G20. Front half of the casing sheared off leaving the back half stuck in the chamber. Took it home, cleared the casing and the thing still performs flawlessly. Say what you will about Glock's, but they are pretty fucking stout and hard to argue with for $500. I prefer them over XDs (lighter, I like the trigger better, and I prefer the larger grip they have). Sig's are #1 for me though. I like me a CZ75 SP-01 too.

I carry both. Not at the same time but depending on what neighborhood Im heading to it may be the usual S&W 360, 357mag super snubby. Or a Wilson Combat Tactical Elite 1911.

My EDC is a Gen 3 Glock 19 which has never misfired. I've no problem with wheel guns however and can appreciate the argument for reliability.
