    Have a few more hernias!! DAMN U BODY!!

    Well last week blew out an old hernia repair and this week couldnt even stand straight and when bending over keeps getting caught and holding me bent over!

    Went to doc today, she jabbed a finger in the left groin and i almost cried! Yelped a bit and she said get ready for surgery asap!

    Also found another one on lower right corner of my belt line!! Shit im tired of this crap!

    So with that will hgh help speed up recovery? And what if any aas MIGHT help in regards to hardening the stomach muscles to help prevent this crap again? I ask basically because ever since my last hernias ive not been able to fully strengthen my stomach at all!!

    I was doing planks, and all sorts of core strengthening stuff and it just never helped!

    Building up your core will only help a little. As I understand it, hernias are best prevented by being careful and not overloading especially deadlifts. Best way not to get hurt doing deads is to find the powerlifters in your gym and let them see your form and make adjustments if necessary or just lift with them.

    Know this is not exactly what you were looking for but like they say an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. Keep us posted. Good luck man.

    I actually tweaked my hernia slamming down a wheel at work,legs spread, and bent over then it was tweaked! Did not kick in for about 4 days, day before i was pulling my sled and felt no pain, then bam! The next day, it was there... I have a very weak core,possibly loss of muscle and or underlying weakness in the fibers perhaps? Dunno until i go under the knife next week sometime!
