How many protein shakes do you drink per day?

I am doing 2 currently but I have done as many as 5 per day (love those peanut butter shakes).

However, I am curious if you guys have found other good (and simple) meal replacements?

Personally, I try to limit my protein shakes to one post workout. IMO, whole foods are a superior source of nutrients and the various whey/blends are profoundly overrated. Then again I have a raging hard-on for the entire supplments industry ;)

I usually have 2 protein shakes a day. One when I wake up, and one post workout. I would like to do 1 a day, but I am too lazy in the mornings to make a breakfast that has a good amount of protein in it.

I am usually two a day......one in morning (just simply scoop of protein in almond milk) to break the fast then 30 minutes later eat breakfast, and one post workout (which has 2 cups of spinach, 1/4 cup of oatmeal, banana, and 1/2 cup blueberries).............

I wouldn't go over 2 shakes a day tho. At some point I feel it's just a waste and force you to end up shitting it out along with your other whole foods which I feel isn't being allowed to digest completely, forcing you to loose good calories causing a smaller amount of calorie intake. When stuffs to high, your body just rejects it. That's why i've kinda taken a step back from making my own homemade weight gainers ect.

well i have 2 but i make my shakes as natural as possible.

organic milk 5-6oz
liquid egg white 4oz
water 4 oz
1 teaspoon PB
1/2 teaspoon olive oil
1 scoup whey iso


depending on when im drinking it i have raw oats i run threw a coffee grinder. so post WO, id add in 2 tablespoons of it or so.


you want food really, i just work 60hrs a wk so i gotta make due.

No shakes unless for some reason I have to miss a meal. I used to do 2 but I can say ive noticed a difference since ive stopped.
