    me after 15 5x5 workouts.

    me 6 months ago.jpg



    I took 6 months off before surgery (l-5,s-1) and started lifting in a hurry(another surgery upcoming in march) on december 1st..was down to 202lbs, then 15 5x5 workouts later I tipped the scale at 230, I wish I would have had a before pic, simply terrible. This is one of my favorite pics, It shows what can be done once solid muscle is established.Never give up!

    you would kill me...I have less than a stellar diet, at this time,milk, a few eggs and toast for breakfast, yogurt and oranges mid dinner and nothing set for dinner, stew one day, goulash another, pork chops ...and a bowl of cereal for late snack, that's about it.

    I found it best not to work biceps or tri's...I guess it all depends on the person, I always pummeled arms..pummeled!! and 6 years agoish, i found the 5x5..maybe after years of killing my arms, what they needed was a break? so to say, but not really a break.

    thank you brother!!...a few sets of hammer curls or seated single dumbbell extentions were all I performed, 1 day a week. I told steelers4life no arm training, which this pic shows me with, none. There was a time when I first started the 5x5 where I had to train arms, or so I thought.
